Chambered Nautilus Card

$8.00

8.25” x 6”

The Chambered Nautilus has been around for about 500 million years - even before the dinosaurs. And now, it is endangered. The main threats are over-harvesting, habitat loss, and climate change. Populations in some areas (such as in the Philippines) are declining due to over-fishing. One serious climate change-related issue is ocean acidification, which affects the nautilus's ability to build its calcium carbonate-based shell.
