Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Print
Number in series: 50
Each print includes a Certificate of Generosity, acknowledging that a percentage of your purchase will go towards the conservation of manatees.
The peaceful, gentle Florida manatee has become the victim of mass starvation due to algae blooms from water pollution that are killing seagrasses, its main source of food. Between 2021 and 2022 over 1,000 have died. Today, it is estimated that only 5-7,000 remain in the wild. Other hazards are water craft collisions and the newest threat - the dredging of the San Juan Bay slated for November 2022.
50% of the sale of this print will be donated to conservation groups helping manatees directly through rescue, rehabilitation, accident prevention and water quality restoration.
