I am so delighted to announce the publication of Beyond Factory Farming: A Contemplative-Prophetic Approach to Food by James Robinson, for which I was commissioned by Orbis Book to create the cover art. From first hearing about the author’s intentions to write this much needed book, I expressed my desire to illustrate the cover. These new images of factory farmed animals have become an important addition to my growing body of original icons portraying our non-human kin in their proper light as beings to be respected, valued, and cared for.
